Social cards are accepted for payment in Remarkt stores

Did you receive your social card and wonder where to use it?

Come to the Remarkt stores, choose from the most varied range of food products and hot meals, and we accept payment by social card.

Starting on June 01, 2022, the Ministry of European Investments and Projects (MIPE) has started the process of issuing, distributing and charging the social vouchers offered through the government program "Support for Romania". More than 2,5 million Romanians, in situations of material deprivation or at risk of poverty, will receive these aids in the amount of 250 lei per 2 months.

Vouchers worth 250 lei are charged once every two months, until the end of the year, and these amounts are valid for 12 months from the date of their charge. Thus, if the IV tranche is loaded in December 2022, it can be used until December 2023.

When distributed, the cards are accompanied by letters containing instructions for use (including the PIN code), details about the stores where the cards can be used and a telephone number in case of problems.

Beneficiaries can use the cards offered within the program, at partner stores, only for the purchase of food products and hot meals!

The cards can only be used by the beneficiaries. In exceptional cases, in which the beneficiary cannot go to the economic operators to use the aid, then he can entrust the vouchers to a close person, but only together with the identity document. In order to find out the current balance / amount available on the card and for other information, beneficiaries are asked to call the issuer's Customer Service.

The Ministry of Labor and Social Solidarity (MMSS) will update monthly, before each payment of the social voucher, the lists of beneficiaries, to verify any changes made compared to the previous lists.
