The name of this wine comes from €žpreare€�, meaning the quarries for the extraction of Plum stone that are typical for the highest part of the Valpolicella Classico area. The extraction of this stone supported the livelihood of the locals for a long period of time. We can still find these stones today in the vineyards of the area, characterized by marogne, stone walls built with this Prun stone that border the terraces with vines.

CHARACTERISTICS
The vineyards: Located on the hills of Verona, at an altitude between 50 and 150 meters above sea level.
Soil type: mixed soils.
Grassy vine. Support system: unilateral pergola and in rows.
Age of the vine: 15-25 years.
Loading buds on beef: 8-18.
Planting density: 2.500-4.000 plants per hectare.
Yield per hectare: 80 hl.

PRODUCTION PROCESS
Harvesting: in September, exclusively manual picking and selection.
Vinification: by the Charmat method in autoclaves, preservation in stainless steel.

TASTING NOTES
Color: bright rosy pink, with fine and persistent perlage
Aroma: fresh and fragrant, with the aroma of tea rose flowers and violets, and a mixture of small red fruits.
Taste: fresh and dry, with hints of raspberry and a pleasant sensation of freshness.

CULINARY ASSOCIATIONS
Excellent aperitif, ideal with fish appetizers. Enjoy it throughout the meal, with Mediterranean dishes from the summer season.
