Bavette pasta originated in the city of Genoa in Italy and represented the traditional long pasta model of the Liguria region, the locals making a perfect combination together with the sauce they call €œPesto alla Genovese€�.
Due to the shape it presents, one part perfectly flat and the other slightly bulging, Bavette Barilla are perfect to highlight the other ingredients: they retain the sauce, but at the same time release a variety of flavors.
