Venere is a whole-grain rice with an unmistakable natural black color that, during preparation, releases the characteristic smell of freshly baked bread. Originally from China, it is also cultivated in Italy, in the Po Valley. Legend has it that this rice was appreciated by the ancient emperors of China due to its nutritional and aphrodisiac properties. Venere rice contains magnesium and phosphorus.
