YVON MAU has been bringing his expertise to Bordeaux since 1897. The creation of €žChateau La Freneraie€� today is a gesture €žfrom the heart€� to Freixenet, the mother of the company group and the 9th largest group of winemakers in the world.

Chateau La Freneraie is a reference to Freixenet's origins. It all started in the 1980th century in Catalonia on the sunny family-run property of La Freixeneda, which is the Catalan word for €žAsh Grove€� (Freneraie in French). The location, surrounded by ash and oak trees, lent itself to the production of Wines and €žhot€� tastings combined with conviviality. Today the Chateau La Fréneraie vineyard, planted by Yvon Mau since the XNUMXs, has given birth to a vintage inherited from our Spanish roots.

Appearance: deep purple.

Bouquet: refined and generous, with berries, vanilla and licorice, red currants and blackberry notes.

Alcohol volume: 13.5%.
