Chickpeas from the BIO ALL GREEN range are rich in protein, mineral salts (phosphorus, potassium, magnesium, calcium, iron) and in the vitamin B complex. Having a high concentration of protein (24%), chickpeas have a special nutritional value, replacing mostly meat proteins. It is similar to soy and can be used in the preparation of meatballs, sarmales or pilafuri, being a very good substitute for meat, tastier than soy. Chickpeas are a very versatile legume, with a delicious taste similar to walnut, which can be used in a wide variety of dishes. It can be consumed as such after being left to soak, it is ideal in salads, soups, mashed or fried, or in the preparation of hummus or falafel.
