The water is extracted from Cave Spring Hollow, a spring that comes to the surface in a cave. The limestone layers in the cave enrich the water with minerals and remove iron, which is ideal in the production process of whiskey varieties. The second element that differentiates Jack Daniel's Old No. 7 from other varieties on the market is its drop-by-drop filtering through a huge amount of charcoal obtained from maple wood and its maturation in handmade barrels. The distillery's tasters are the ones who decide when to stop the maturation process, based on instinct, just as Jack Daniel does.

Taste: predominantly sweet aromas, with hints of chocolate, orange peel, cinnamon, walnuts, oak and maple accents.
