Everything starts again when in 2003 Nicolae Basilescu's heiress manages to regain some of the goods received, including the vineyard and the mansion from Urlati. In 2008 the newly established winery and mansion represent places with a tradition of over 100 years and modern connections, where Romanian wines are brought back to life. The winery is based on capitalizing on the uniqueness of the terroir through soil, climate, positioning of plots, cultivated varieties and technology. Basilescu Busuioaca de Bohotin is a semi-sweet rose wine obtained from carefully selected grapes and fermented in peel to give the authentic aroma. The sweetness of this assortment is well balanced by the high acidity that makes it invigorating at the same time. It embodies the true taste of Bohotin Basil.
